The Orihuela Costa, although it is an annex of and regulated by Orihuela City, has it's own Town Hall
(Ayuntiamento), which provides a broad range of services and information.
It is situated just off of the N332 (Playa Flamenca exit) and also houses the Policia Local Office.
The Town Hall is responsible for ensuring that the area is kept clean, has adequate facilities, has a Salon de Matrimonio (for getting married) and above other services, it is where residents and non-residents alike can get a Padron, a certificate of Residence (residencia) and obtain tourist & local information.

It is always a good idea to visit and get the full range of services and up to date hours of opening. It is also advisable that if you are needing anything at the Town Hall, to arrive as early in the morning as you can, particularly in the summer months, when there can be large queues.

Obtaining a Residencia :-
This is by appointment, so always go early to make one. The process in relatively smooth, but remember those photocopies AND originals of everything. -
Obtaining a Padron (or updates) :-
Get there early in the morning, as this is a first come first served basis. PHOTOCOPIES.... - Suma :-

The local Police office is here, dealing with parking tickets, thefts etc..
Other Advice .
There may be some services that you will need form the main Town Hall in Orihuela City, like applications to get married in the Palacio de Justo (Palace of Justice), to register your newly born child and some Residencia applications at the Policia Nacional (National Police Station).
In the first instance, it is best to go to the Orihuela Costa Town Hall first, just incase you do not need to go to Orihuela.
REMEMBER:-
