Spanish National & Regional T.V.
Obviously, living in Spain, Spanish T.V. is available to all. There is NO licence fee here in Spain, so first off, there is that saving.
Soanish national cahnnels include:-TVE channels (Television Espana), Antenna, Cinco and many more besides. Spanish Television isn't that different to what you are used to....a mix of current affairs, soaps, movies, family favourites and many others that you would probably recognise..just in a different language and can be an interesting way to learn Spanish (e.g. Los Simpsons - you know the drill. . .just learn it in another language).
There are also regional Spanish television programmes, like local news and current affairs shows, again, valuable to keep you abreast of local issues. Even if you can't fully understand the language, you can still get an idea of what is going on.
English Language Telly.
On the Orihuela Costa and the Costa Blanca, 2 main channels service the English speaking communities, Viva T.V. & SOL Productions.
Both provide information on current affairs, news, local issues and have magazine style programming
